YWAM Together (1)

Nous sommes bien arrivés à Pattaya après 14h de vol et 2h de route. Première impression: c'est le plus gros complexe hôtelier qu'on ait jamais vu. Rien qu'un des bâtiments sur les cinq, une immense tour, a au moins 3'600 lits... Et on met 10mn pour aller de l'entrée du complexe jusqu'au bord de mer. L'organisation est super aussi - on a soupé dans une salle pouvant contenir 800 personnes, et il n'y a eu aucune attente tant il y avait de buffets où aller se servir. Impressionnant. La soirée d'introduction a donné le ton - vous pouvez voir dans la vidéo un orchestre d'enfants de JEM qui a conduit un chant d'honneur pour le roi du pays, comme cela se fait dans tous les événements. Loren and Darlene Cunningham nous ont accueillis, et nous avons eu beaucoup de louange et de célébration culturelle. Bien sûr, beaucoup de contacts déjà ce premier jour, et demain, cela va s'enchaîner.

We arrived safely in Pattaya after 14hours in two flights and 2 hours by van. First impression: this is the largest hotel complex we've ever seen. Just one of the buildings (and there are five of them) is a huge tower with a least 3'600 beds... And we need 10mn to walk from the complex entrance to the sea side. The organisation is also great - we ate dinner un a hall able to contain at least 800 people, and there was no queue as there were so many buffets where you could help yourself. Impressive. The opening evening gave the tune - you can see an orchestra with YWAM kids leading a musical in honor to the king of the nation, as this is done in every social event. Loren and Darlene Cunningham welcomed us, and we've had much worship and cultural celebration. Of course, many contacts already during this first day, and tomorrow it will continue.
