Service Pâques à Yverdon / Easter Service Camp in Yverdon

Vendredi et samedi a eu lieu le traditionnel Service Pâques des FJ à Yverdon avec une centaine de participants. Aujourd'hui, c'était la fête des générations vers le kiosque à musique avec différentes animations et 350 repas distribués à la population. Bravo à toute l'équipe, et merci à Salomé pour les belles photos!

On Friday and Saturday, the KKI's traditional Easter service camp took place in Yverdon, attended by one hundred participants. Today, there was a “Generations Festival” near the bandstand, featuring various activities and 350 meals served to the public. Well done to the whole team, and thanks to Salomé for the nice photos!

Maé coiffeuse à Paris / Maé hairdresser in Paris

Maé est en train de réaliser un de ses rêves: elle a trouvé un poste de coiffeuse dans un salon à Paris, Mousse, qui fait aussi café: https://www.mousse.paris/. Elle a aussi trouvé un studio pour quelques mois pas trop loin. Une super expérience de vie!

Maé is making one of her dreams come true: she’s landed a job as a hairstylist at a Paris salon called Mousse, which also serves coffee: https://www.mousse.paris/. She’s also found a studio apartment nearby to rent for a few months. What a great life experience!

Guy enseigne à Chavornay / Guy teaches in Chavornay

Guy a enseigné aujourd'hui les leaders du réseau d'églises et de groupes de jeunes de Kevin Roulin à Chavornay. Une soixantaine de personnes de 6 églises et groupes (Ste-Croix, Vallorbe, Chavornay, Baulmes, Le Locle et La Chaux-de-Fonds) étaient présentes et ont pu être encouragées. Les thèmes abordés étaient: Que mettre en place pour bien terminer sa course, et Le caractère et les relations, clés de la longévité du leader.

Today, Guy spoke to the leaders of Kevin Roulin’s network of churches and youth groups in Chavornay. About sixty people from six churches and groups (Ste-Croix, Vallorbe, Chavornay, Baulmes, Le Locle, and La Chaux-de-Fonds) were in attendance and were encouraged. The topics covered were: What to do to finish the race well, and Character and relationships: keys to a leader’s longevity.

Joële wraps up a 4-day seminar on God’s calling for our lives—Destiny by Design. Thirteen students aged 17 to 66. God’s work was clearly evident. Powerful revelations. Encouraging testimonies. A top-notch staff and participants. Multiplication on the horizon 🎁🎉 God is good 🙌🏽 The best is yet to come 🙌🏽 

Guy enseigne à JEM Lausanne / Guy teaches at YWAM Lausanne

Guy a enseigné cette semaine 3 jours au MLD (cours de formation au leadership et développement de ministère) de JEM Lausanne. Une petite école de 8 étudiants, mais une super réceptivité!

Guy taught for three days this week at the MLD (Leadership and Ministry Development Course) at YWAM Lausanne. It was a small class of eight students, but they were incredibly receptive!

Noam fête son anniversaire avec ses copains / Noam celebrates his birthday with his friends

Aujourd'hui, Noam a fêté son anniversaire avec une vingtaine de copains. Nous avons commencé par un tournoi de football, suivi par une pizza party et un dessert délicieux! Il a beaucoup apprécié!

Today, Noam celebrated his birthday with about twenty friends. We started with a soccer tournament, followed by a pizza party and a delicious dessert! He really enjoyed it!

Joële s'est envolée aujourd'hui pour Harpenden, une base de JEM au nord de Londres, où elle va former une équipe pour le cours Destiny by Design pendant la semaine qui vient, puis va coacher cette équipe pour donner ce cours à une équipe de jeunes le week-end suivant. Elle se réjouit de ce temps!

Joële flew to Harpenden today, a YWAM base north of London, where she will train a team for the “Destiny by Design” course this coming week, and then coach that team to lead the course for a group of young people the following weekend. She’s really looking forward to it! 

Kingdom Come avec JEM Lausanne / Kingdom Come with YWAM Lausanne

Nous avons eu hier soir Kingdom Come à Ouchy avec JEM Lausanne: un moment de célébration festive dans la rue avec danses, témoignages, parties louange ou musicales et près de 300 repas offerts à la population. Guy a pu prêcher et plusieurs bons échanges et prières pour les gens ont eu lieu ensuite. Très encourageant!

Last night we held Kingdom Come in Ouchy with YWAM Lausanne: a festive celebration in the streets featuring dancing, testimonies, times of worship and music, and nearly 300 meals served to the community. Guy had the opportunity to preach, and afterward there were many meaningful conversations and prayers for the people. Very encouraging!

Week-end en famille dans l'Emmental / Family week-end in the Emmental

Nous avons notre week-end en famille annuel, et nous avons trouvé une maison pour groupe dans l'Emmental, en fait une ancienne école avec encore les tableaux noirs dans les classes transformées en dortoirs... Nous avons visité Burgdorf en passant, puis trouvé un supermarché avec un grand toboggan pour les petits enfants pendant la neige, puis visité la fabrique de biscuits Kambly (et mangé plein de biscuits!). De bons moments tous ensemble, à part Maé qui cherche du travail à Paris.

We’re having our annual family weekend, and we found a group house in the Emmental—actually an old school with blackboards still in the classrooms, which have been converted into dorms... We stopped by Burgdorf on the way, then found a supermarket with a big slide for the little ones in the snow, and then visited the Kambly cookie factory (and ate lots of cookies!). We had a great time together, except for Maé, who’s looking for work in Paris.
