Week-end en famille dans l'Emmental / Family week-end in the Emmental

Nous avons notre week-end en famille annuel, et nous avons trouvé une maison pour groupe dans l'Emmental, en fait une ancienne école avec encore les tableaux noirs dans les classes transformées en dortoirs... Nous avons visité Burgdorf en passant, puis trouvé un supermarché avec un grand toboggan pour les petits enfants pendant la neige, puis visité la fabrique de biscuits Kambly (et mangé plein de biscuits!). De bons moments tous ensemble, à part Maé qui cherche du travail à Paris.

We’re having our annual family weekend, and we found a group house in the Emmental—actually an old school with blackboards still in the classrooms, which have been converted into dorms... We stopped by Burgdorf on the way, then found a supermarket with a big slide for the little ones in the snow, and then visited the Kambly cookie factory (and ate lots of cookies!). We had a great time together, except for Maé, who’s looking for work in Paris.

Guy s'est adressé ce matin aux pasteurs et moniteurs de la fédération des églises charismatiques libres de Suisse sur le travail parmi les enfants dans l'église. Il était traduit en allemand. Il y était juste pour la matinée, mais a eu beaucoup de plaisir et de retours positifs. Il a juste pris ce matin, car l'engagement était pris depuis longtemps, pendant nos vacances en famille en Emmental, pas loin.

This morning, Guy spoke to the pastors and leaders of the Federation of Free Charismatic Churches in Switzerland about children’s ministry in the church. He was translated into German. He was only there for the morning, but he really enjoyed it and received a lot of positive feedback. He took the time this morning because he had committed to it a long time ago, during our family vacation in the Emmental, not far from here.

Guy est rentré de sa participation au forum européen des ministères auprès des familles de JEM à Dürres, où il était orateur. Plein de super contacts et des invitations pour la suite, les gens étaient très ouverts et reconnaissants de ce qu'ils ont reçu lors de ses deux interventions.

Guy has returned from participating in the European forum of ministries to families organized by YWAM in Dürres, where he was a speaker. He came back with lots of great contacts and invitations for the future. People were very open and grateful for what they received during his two presentations.

Guy est arrivé en Albanie aujourd'hui pour 2 jours où il est orateur de la rencontre européenne des ministères famille de JEM. L'occasion de revoir des vieux amis et de se donner des nouvelles...

Guy arrived in Albania today for two days, where he will be a speaker at the European meeting of YWAM family ministries. It will be an opportunity to see old friends and catch up on each other's news...

Guy à Annecy / Guy in Annecy

Guy est allé ce week-end parler à l'église Connect d'Annecy. Un tout bon moment avec nos amis Parisod et un culte profond où beaucoup ont été touchés. Merci Seigneur!

Guy went to speak at Connect Church in Annecy this weekend. We had a wonderful time with our friends, the Parisods, and it was a profound service that touched many people. Thank you, Lord!

Fête des 20 ans de Maé et des 17 ans de Noam / Celebration party for Maé 20th and Noam 17th birthday

Ce week-end, nous avons loué un chalet et fêté les 20 ans de Maé (27 février) et les 17 ans de Noam (28 février, il fêtera avec ses amis fin mars). Des excellents moments bienfaisants entourés de la famille et des amis!

This weekend, we rented a cottage and celebrated Maé's 20th birthday (February 27) and Noam's 17th birthday (February 28, he will celebrate with his friends at the end of March). We had a wonderful time surrounded by family and friends!

La formation B2b s'est bien terminée. Les étudiants participent ce week-end à un cours Tilt! pour préadolescents organisés par les FJ locaux, et la semaine prochaine sera sur le thème de la création de programmes de formation, par Barbara Connor. Après une semaine de B2b intense, le rythme va ralentir!

The B2b training has come to a successful conclusion. This weekend, students are participating in a preteen training course organized by the local KKI, and next week's theme will be creating training programs, led by Barbara Connor. After an intense week of B2b, the pace is about to slow down! 

Joële en Arménie (4) / Joële in Armenia (4)

Deux jours intenses en émotion pour Joële et Théo. En effet, ils ont visité un orphelinat de Mère Teresa pour des enfants handicapés dont personne ne veut et le mémorial du génocide. Seigneur grâce grâce grâce envers nous les humains!!!

Two emotionally intense days for Joële and Théo. They visited Mother Teresa's orphanage for disabled children that nobody wants and the genocide memorial. Lord, have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on us humans!!!

Ces quatre derniers jours en Arménie ont été riches en découverte! Joële a visité une église internationale puis a pu voir le mont Ararat de tout près et visiter le puits de Grégoire l'Illuminateur (il y est resté 15 ans !).  Le jour suivant, ce fut le départ pour Spitak, là où a eu lieu le tremblement de terre il y a 28 ans. De nombreuses personnes vivent encore dans des containers aménagés ! Visite d'une école et rencontre avec femme ouzbèke avec un projet incroyable avec entre autres de l'aide aux enfants handicapés et femmes seules. Puis retour sur Erevan en passant par le magnifique grand lac Sevan. Joële et Théo sont émerveillés par la manière dont Dieu les conduits.

These last four days in Armenia have been full of discoveries! Joële visited an international church, then got to see Mount Ararat up close and visit Gregory the Illuminator's well (he stayed there for 15 years!).  The next day, we left for Spitak, where the earthquake struck 28 years ago. Many people still live in converted shipping containers! They visited a school and met  an Uzbek woman who is involved in an incredible project that includes helping disabled children and single women. Then they returned to Yerevan via the magnificent Lake Sevan. Joële and Théo are amazed at how God is leading them.
