Guy and Baptiste taught together about the Father tonight at TNT, the KKI teen group, in Yverdon. Their great chemistry really resonated with the teens.
Guy était orateur hier soir au groupe Interjeunes de Cossonay, groupe qu'il coache depuis 2 ans. Le thème était: "Adopté comme son enfant", et cela a débouché sur de bonnes discussions pour plusieurs jeunes. Avec Joële, ils seront orateurs au camp Explosion pour ce groupe de jeunes fin décembre.
Guy spoke last night at the Interyouth group in Cossonay, a group he has been coaching for two years. The topic was “Adopted as His Child,” and it sparked some meaningful discussions among several young people. Together with Joële, they will be speakers at the Explosion camp for this group of young people in late December.

Guy is teaching this week at YWAM Lausanne on the nature and character of God. It’s a great class of about thirty students who are very motivated and open to God’s work—it’s encouraging!
Le livre "Passion pour la présence de Dieu", co-écrit par Guy et Dale Kauffman, sort ces jours en néerlandais, en vue d'une conférence que nous allons donner dans 2 semaines à Courtrai, en Flandres. C'est le 2ème de nos livres traduit et publié dans une autre langue, après "Une vision pour la famille" en polonais!
The book "Passion for God’s Presence", co-authored by Guy and Dale Kauffman, is being released in Dutch in the coming days, in anticipation of a conference we will be giving in two weeks in Kortrijk, Flanders. This is the second of our books to be translated and published in another language, following "A Vision for the Family" in Polish!
Joële a eu la joie d'enseigner à deux reprises aujourd'hui, ce matin à l'équipe de la comédie musicale Pestalozzi, et cet après-midi dans une rencontre pour mamans et leur fille adolescente organisée par la Ligue pour la Lecture de la Bible. De bons moments!
Joële had the pleasure of teaching twice today—this morning to the cast of the musical Pestalozzi, and this afternoon at a gathering for mothers and their teenage daughters organized by the Bible Reading League. Such a great time!
Guy termine son temps en Belgique avec un week-end avec l'église de Couillet, qu'il a visité déjà ces trois dernières années. À nouveau un temps fort, des coeurs réceptifs, une soif nouvelle d'unité, de relations... C'est une nouvelle saison qui pointe dans ce pays, avec certainement bien des opportunités dans les années à venir. Il faut maintenant discerner les priorités et les invitations stratégiques. L'alliance évangélique va débriefer de notre soirée de mardi et proposer une suite... Guy a fait un crochet par Paris pour rentrer en Suisse pour récupérer Maé et ses valises, car notre fille revient en Suisse pour économiser des sous pour faire une école de disciples dans quelques mois. Ils arriveront à Mathod lundi matin.
Guy is wrapping up his time in Belgium with a weekend at the church in Couillet, which he has visited for the past three years. Once again, it was a highlight—receptive hearts, a renewed thirst for unity and relationships... A new season is dawning in this country, with certainly many opportunities ahead in the coming years. Now we need to discern the priorities and strategic opportunities. The Evangelical Alliance will debrief on our Tuesday evening event and propose next steps… Guy made a detour through Paris on his way back to Switzerland to pick up Maé and her luggage, since our daughter is returning to Switzerland to save money for a discipleship school in a few months. They’ll arrive in Mathod on Monday morning.
Guy poursuit sa tournée en Belgique. Mercredi, il était à Liège, il a pu visiter le centre ville ainsi qu'un lieu très symbolique à une 30aine de kilomètres, la chapelle transparente. Le soir il est intervenu dans une église sur le thème: Relever les défis que Dieu place dans nos vies. Jeudi, après un entretien avec une intercesseuse de la région, il est reparti pour la région de Charleroi, plus précisément à Marcinelle, avec une excellente soirée sur le thème de Cultiver et garder son jardin. Il dort chez le pasteur ce soir et a eu d'excellents échanges avec le responsable de l'alliance évangélique belge pour répandre ces enseignements sur les enfants, les jeunes et les familles dans toutes les régions et dénominations de Wallonie. Prometteur pour la suite! Il y a vraiment une saison nouvelle en Belgique.
Guy is continuing his tour of Belgium. On Wednesday, he was in Liège, where he visited the city center as well as a very symbolic site about 30 kilometers away: the Transparent Chapel. That evening, he spoke at a church on the topic: “Overcoming the Challenges God Places in Our Lives.” On Thursday, after a meeting with a local intercessor, he headed to the Charleroi area—specifically to Marcinelle—where he led an excellent evening on the topic “Cultivating and Caring for Your Garden.” He is staying with the pastor tonight and had excellent discussions with the leader of the Belgian Evangelical Alliance about spreading these teachings on children, youth, and families throughout all regions and denominations in Wallonia. This bodes well for the future! There is indeed a new season in Belgium.
Lundi matin, Guy a visité le centre-ville de Lille, magnifique, puis s'est rendu chez nos amis les Paton chez qui il a dormi. Le soir, nous avons participé à un comité de préparation de la conférence famille que nous ferons en octobre à Courtrai. Puis mardi matin, retour sur Namur. Le soir, Guy a parlé lors d'une rencontre pour l'alliance évangélique avec une 80aine de participants de toute la Wallonie, ce qui est super encourageant pour ici. Des pasteurs, des moniteurs de l'enfance, des responsables jeunesse, des responsables d'oeuvres... C'était riche, on sent le début de quelque chose! Ce soir, il dort près de Charleroi et demain journée et soirée dans une église à Liège.
On Monday morning, Guy visited the beautiful downtown area of Lille, then went to stay with our friends, the Patons. That evening, we attended a planning meeting for the family conference we’ll be holding in October in Kortrijk. Then on Tuesday morning, we headed back to Namur. That evening, Guy spoke at a meeting for the Evangelical Alliance with about 80 participants from all over Wallonia, which is really encouraging for our area. Pastors, children’s ministry leaders, youth leaders, ministry directors… It was a rich experience; you can feel something new beginning! Tonight, he’s staying near Charleroi, and tomorrow he’ll spend the day and evening at a church in Liège.
Joële arrive au bout de son temps en Ouganda, après une semaine de préparation du staff et de l'école FTJ et deux semaines d'enseignement. Ce week-end dernier a vu une magnifique célébration des 50 ans du ministère en Afrique de l'Est, et la journée s'est terminée hier avec la visite des sources du Nil (là où le Nil sort du lac Victoria et des cataractes un peu plus loin. Magnifique! Elle quitte la base pour l'aéroport ce matin et arrive en Suisse demain matin.
Joële is wrapping up her time in Uganda, after a week of staff training and preparation at the PCYFM school and two weeks of teaching. Last weekend featured a magnificent celebration of the ministry’s 50th anniversary in East Africa, and the day concluded yesterday with a visit to the sources of the Nile (where the Nile flows out of Lake Victoria) and the cataracts a little further on. Magnificent! She is leaving the base for the airport this morning and will arrive in Switzerland tomorrow morning.
Le premier week-end d'église, avec la communauté de Courcelles au camp de Limauges, s'est bien déroulé. Les participants ont été percutés par les enseignements sur la famille. Guy a pu parler avec pas mal de monde, il a aussi pu s'adresser aux jeunes. Le camp se déroulait là où le premier camp Famille de foi de Belgique sera organisé en 2027, Du coup, plusieurs familles sont intéressées. Lors du déplacement, Guy s'est arrêté à Luxeuil-les-Bains pour se plonger dans la vie de Saint Columba, moine irlandais du 6ème siècle, qui y a fondé un monastère. Et aujourd'hui, il a visité le musée Hergé à Louvain-la-Neuve, à côté du lieu du camp. Sympa de joindre la culture au ministère!
The first church weekend, with the Courcelles community at the Limauges camp, went well. The participants were deeply moved by the teachings on the family. Guy was able to talk with quite a few people, and he also spoke to the young people. The camp took place at the same location where Belgium’s first “Family of Faith” camp will be held in 2027. As a result, several families are interested. On the way there, Guy stopped in Luxeuil-les-Bains to immerse himself in the life of Saint Columba, a 6th-century Irish monk who founded a monastery there. And today, he visited the Hergé Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve, near the campsite. It’s nice to combine culture with ministry!
