Guy a subi une opération ce matin pour enlever un nodule (bénin, mais assez gros) sur la thyroïde, ôtant ainsi la moitié de sa thyroïde. Il se râclait tout le temps la gorge, avec des glaires qui s'accumulaient. On espère que cela va dégager sa gorge. L'opération semble s'est bien déroulée, il est encore dans les choux suite à l'anesthésie complète et il attend le médecin qui va lui donner des nouvelles cet après-midi.
Guy had an operation this morning to remove a nodule (benign, but quite large) on his thyroid, thus removing half of his thyroid. He was always clearing his throat, as mucus was accumulating. We hope that this will clear his throat. The operation seems to have gone well, he is still a bit groggy after the anaesthesia and is waiting for the doctor who will give him news this afternoon.
