Nouvelle-Zélande (14) - En route pour le sud - New Zealand (14) - Road trip to South Island

Nous avons quitté Matamata et faisons route vers l'île du Sud sur 5 jours. Cela nous permet de découvrir encore mieux ce pays magnifique. Hier Taupo, ce soir Palmerston North, puis Wellington, la traversée en ferry, puis Kaikoura et enfin Oxford. Aujourd'hui, la pluie ne nous a permis de voir les montagnes enneigées que par intermittence, mais on se rattrapera dans quelques jours... La photo ci-dessous du parc qu'on a traversé vient d'une carte postale... On s'est arrêté un musée national de l'armée pour couper le trajet en deux, les enfants ont raffolé.

We left Matamata et are on the road to South Island during 5 days. This allows us to discover even more this beautiful country. Yesterday Taupo, tonight Palmerston North, tomorrow Wellington, the crossing the straight with the ferry, then Kaikoura, and finally Oxford. Today, the rain didn't allow us to see the snowy mountains a lot, but we will catch up in a few days... The picture below from the national park we crossed comes from a postcard... We stop at the national army museum to cut the trip in two, the kids enjoyed it.
