La célébration des 50 ans des King's Kids se déroule bien. Nous rencontrons des gens formidables qui ont persévéré et établi le ministère dans 7 villes de Colombie et une au Pérou. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié de rencontrer une famille qui travaille parmi les familles à Léticia, dans l'Amazone. Ils ont 7 enfants, dont 5 adoptés, et réalisent que la famille est la porte d'entrée pour atteindre cette population très touchée par la dépression et l'éclatement des familles. Nous irons certainement les visiter et les encourager l'année prochaine. Cet après-midi, retour à Bogota pour un moment de louange dans la ville, puis demain, départ pour le Pérou pour quelques jours de vacances qui nous feront du bien!
The King’s Kids 50th-anniversary celebration is going well. We’re meeting wonderful people who have persevered and established the ministry in seven cities in Colombia and one in Peru. We especially enjoyed meeting a family that works among families in Leticia, in the Amazon. They have seven children, five of whom are adopted, and they realize that the family is the gateway to reaching this population, which is deeply affected by depression and family breakdown. We’ll definitely visit and encourage them next year. This afternoon, we’re heading back to Bogotá for a time of worship in the city, and then tomorrow, we’re leaving for Peru for a few days of vacation—which will do us a world of good!
