Joële est... toujours au Nigéria. Elle a embarqué dans l'avion de Turkish Airlines hier soir à Lagos avec du retard... et elle a attendu toute la nuit dans l'avion sans qu'il décolle, les gens ont commencé à s'énerver, et les passagers ont désembarqué à 5h30 ce matin. Il semble que l'avion avait un problème technique. À 8h, ils ont été conduits dans un hôtel, mais il était plein. Après avoir attendu une heure dans le hall, on les a conduits dans un 2ème hôtel, plein aussi. Après une heure on les a conduits dans un 3ème hôtel, et là elle peut avoir une chambre. Elle n'a rien reçu à boire ni à manger. Il y a normalement un autre vol de Turkish prévu ce soir, mais il semble qu'il va être annulé aussi... Elle n'a pas sa valise... Et son test covid de 72h arrive bientôt à échéance, il faudra peut-être en refaire un... Notre agent de voyage regarde si une nouvelle solution de vol peut être trouvée (peut-être Lufthansa cet après-midi?). La priorité est maintenant qu'elle puisse rentrer, quel qu'en soit le coût! Ce voyage a été magnifique au niveau des fruits, mais quel combat pour rentrer!
16h: nouvelles informations: Joële a reçu un repas. Il semble que Turkish accepte de rembourser l'intégralité de son billet. Notre agent de voyage a pu lui réserver un billet sur Lufthansa, départ ce soir à 23h. ça coûte, mais au moins elle peut rentrer. Prochain défi: qu'elle puisse récupérer sa valise. Elle part pour l'aéroport maintenant pour ça.
20h: dernières nouvelles: Joële est à la porte d'embarquement de Lufthansa, sans avoir pu récupérer sa valise. Elle devrait arriver à 16h à Genève jeudi, et déposer une réclamation pour la récupérer.
Joële is... still in Nigeria. 4pm: latest information: Joële got a meal. It seems that Turkish also agrees to reimburse her ticket in full. Our travel agent was able to book a ticket for her on Lufthansa, departure tonight at 11pm. It's costly, but at least she can fly back. Next challenge: to get her suitcase back. She leaves for the airport now for that.
8pm: latest news: Joële is at the boarding gate of Lufthansa, without having been able to retrieve his suitcase. She should arrive in Geneva at 4pm on Thursday, and file a claim to get it back.
