So many adventures... We experienced some nice breakthroughs this week with the DTS students. he kids were able to lead some groups to teach them to hear God's voice. Last Sunday, a wonderful first service! The pastor went down on his knees in front of the church at the end of Guy's preaching, asking for forgiveness for the situation of families in the church. He cancelled all the church activities for the week, asking people to take time as couples and families in their homes. On Saturday, we started to be sick - malaria for Guy and Noam, bronchitis for Maé. At worship the second Sunday, Guy started to preach, then he felt he was fainting, he leant on the pulpit, and fainted totally. He woke up 30 seconds later, his head on Joële's laps, one man surelevating his legs, people busy around him and everybody screaming prayers in the church (more than 500 people). He was able to stand up, then went in the pastor's office to lay down again, as Joële was finishing the preaching - and this fact impressed the church a lot! Actually, Guy was lacking sugar, the doctos explained us that the anti-malaria medic takes all the sugar reserves from the body... We had to know that! This week, he gave a seminar morning and night in Didier and Eva's church (Eva was a student in our first PCYM school in 1998, and Didier is a former YWAMer who is now president of this church federation) that was highly appreciated. On the other hand, Noam and Mae's condition deteriorated, and Joële and Geneviève had to go several times to medical centers, pharmacies, making analysis... Finally, Noam also has typhoid fever. Maé has finally also typhoid fever, and Christopher malaria. And on Thursday, Joële got both of them too - we've never seen her in such a condition! We hope she will have recover for our flight to Mali tomorrow.
