ILA (2) - 40ème anniversaire / ILA (2) - 40th anniversary

Nous avons fêté hier le 40ème anniversaire de King's Kids International, fondé en 1976 à Hawaii par Dale et Carol Kauffman. Après un festival des nations au bord de la lagune avec diverses productions et danses, partage de nourriture et de boissons des différentes nations, nous avons eu moment magnifique où nous avons pu honorer Dale et Carol. La soirée s'est poursuivie avec diverses productions, une présentation de l'histoire de JEM Afrique francophone par Raymond Serex (qui a justement commencé ici en Côte d'Ivoire, à 5km de où nous nous trouvons, il y a exactement ... 40 ans aussi!) et par un super temps de chant de anciens classiques FJ.

We celebrated yesterday KKI's 40th anniversary. It was founded in 1976 by Dale and Carol Kauffman. After a festival of the nations along the laguna with different productions and dances, food and drink tasting ans sharing from the different nations, we had a wonderful moment where we were able to honor Dale and Carol. The evening moved on with different productions, a presentation of YWAM french speaking Africa history by Raymond Serex (it started here in Ivory Coast, 5km from where we are, exactly ... 40 years ago too!) and with a great time of old KKI classic songs.
