Notre temps à Lae continue à bien se dérouler. Les opportunités se succèdent. Guy va aller parler à la radio jeudi matin (Catholic FM) après deux soirées de séminaire, un culte dimanche et une journée intensive avec environ 120 enfants samedi. Joële, Noémie et trois autres de l’équipe se sont rendues à Bougnou, un petit village à 3h de route cahotique dans une zone touchée par la sécheresse, pour animer un temps pour les enfants et former les moniteurs. Tout le monde veut que nous revenions pour des formations plus large sur le thème des enfants et de la famille, c’est encourageant.

Sinon, au niveau santé, Joële est encore un peu « patrac » (le ventre), David se remet de plusieurs jours de diarrhées/vomissements… On sent que nous sortons d’une période plus fragile.

Samedi, nous partons de Lae pour Port Moresby, et dimanche matin nous nous envolons pour Fidji, puis Wallis. A ce sujet, merci pour vos prières. Nous ne savons pas si nous sommes attendus, où et si nous allons loger quelque part… Nos amis de Nouvelle-Calédonie ont été en contact avec un pasteur et un missionnaire qui sont là-bas, à qui nous avons écrit, mais nous sommes sans nouvelles… Nous y allons par la foi sur une parole du Seigneur. Joe Portale va nous rejoindre là-bas pour une semaine, ainsi que la famille Cuendet (pour trois mois). Par contre, Benoît et Fanny vont nous quitter dimanche.

Our time in Lae continues to happen well. Opportunities are numerous. Guy will speak on radio on Thursday morning (Catholic FM) after two evenings of seminar, one worship service on Sunday and an intensive Saturday with about 120 kids. Joële, Noémie and three others members of our team went to Bougnou, a little village 3hours away by bus on bumby roads in an area where there is drought, to have a time with the kids and train the children workers. Everybody want us to come back for wider trainings on the themes of family and children, this is encouraging.

Otherwise, healthwise, Joële is still not so well in her stomach, David is recovering from several days of diarrhea/vomiting… We sense we are coming out of a time where we were more fragile.

On Saturday, we leave Lae to Port Moresby, and on Sunday morning we will fly to Fiji, then Wallis. Concerning Wallis, we will appreciate your prayers. We still don’t know if we are expected or not, where or if we will sleep… Our friends in New Caledonia have contacted a pastor and a missionary there, we have also written to both of them, but we have no news at all… We are going by faith on a word from the Lord. Joe Portale will be with us there for one week, as well as the Cuendet family (for three months). On the other hand, Benoît and Fanny will leave us on Sunday.
