This fourth day started as usual with worship, then John Dawson, YWAM president, spoke to us about big numbers (YWAM has presently about 30'000 staff, and several words received these last few years speak about 200'000 in a few years). This brings lots of practical questions - our international leaders have laid down their roles and titles to function more like a family, and we took some time to honour them. We also processed how to function outside a spirit of territorial control, but in a healthy cooperation, welcoming and releasing new ministries.
After a time with Dale Kauffman to pray and speak about KKI's future, we went to Townsville harbour. Guy had a rehearsal for his master's ceremony, then we visited two YWAM ships, the "Pacific Link" and the "YWAM PNG". Then came the evening in two parts on the wharf. First we commissionned those two ships for the Lord's service (Medical ships where dental and eye surgeries are performed), then the graduation for 61 students from 29 nations receiving their diplomas AA, BA, MA and ExecMA. Christopher cried with emotion when Guy received his diploma! We finished with a reception on the upper deck of the "YWAM PNG". An opportuinity for pictures and souvenirs...
