Le grand départ / The big departure

Jour J - ce matin, Claude et Scarlette, les parents de Joële, nous ont emmené à l'aéroport de Zurich où nous avons pris un premier vol pour Bangkok, où nous avons 12h d'attente. Suivra un vol pour Sydney, un autre pour Brisbane et un dernier pour Nouméa.
Guy a bien passé ce premier vol. Sa cicatrice va bien. Il a du mettre des bandes compressives pour prévenir des thromboses, a eu une chaise roulante à disposition dans les aéroport et il va pouvoir se reposer dans une chambre d'hôtel à Bangkok pendant la journée.

D Day - this morning, Claude and Scarlette, Joële's parents, brought us to Zurich airport where we took a first flight to Bangkok, where we have 12 hours of waiting. Then we will have a flight to Sydney, another one to Brisbane and a last one to Nouméa.
Guy experienced a nice flight. His scar is doing fine. He had to put compression bandages around his legs to prevent thrombosis, he had a wheelchair in the airports and he will be able to rest in a hotel room in Bangkok during the day.
