Noam s'est fait ré-opérer / Noam went through a new surgery

Noam s'est fait ré-opérer de son poignet aujourd'hui au CHUV. Après l'opération à Abidjan qui lui a sauvé la vie, il y a plusieurs mouvements qu'il n'arrivait plus à faire. Le médecin en Suisse a conseillé une nouvelle opération. C'est aujourd'hui chose faite, en ambulatoire. Noam a passé plus de 4h30 sur la table d'opération. Le chirurgien a rattaché le tendon du pouce en allant chercher un bout de tendon de l'annulaire (car il n'a pas retrouvé celui du pouce). Il a pris une veine au-dessus du bras de Noam pour reconnecter une de ses artères qui avait été sectionnée, dégagé un nerf coincé, décollé deux tendons... Noam a déjà vomi trois fois, suite à la narcose, mais il est à la maison ce soir. Prochain rendez-vous: jeudi après-midi pour voir le résultat et la suite.

Noam went through an ew surgery for his wrist today at the CHUV Hospital in Lausanne. After the surgery he went through (that saved his life) in Abidjan, he was not able to do some movements anymore. The doctor in Switzerland advised for a new surgery. It's done today, an out-patient one. Noam spent more than 4:30 under the scalpel. The chirurgian tied the thumb's tendon (he was not able to find the thumb's, so he took one of the ring finger's which is less necessary to graft it). He took a vein above Noam's arm to reconnect one of his arteries that was severed, freed a nerve that was stucked, unstick two tendons... Noam already vomited three times, because of the narcosis, but he sleeps at home tonight. Next appointment: Thursday afternoon to see the result and how to move on.
